So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD) Recap 09/02/19: Season 16 Episode 13 "Top 6 Perform"

Tonight on FOX their Emmy-Award Winning So You Think You Can Dance airs with an all-new Monday, September 2, 2019, season 16 episode 13 episode and we have your SYTYCD recap below! On tonight's So You Think You Can Dance season 16 episode 13, "After the Top Six competed for the nation's vote, two dancers must head home.

On tonight SYTYCD the top 6 perform to get into the finale they get help from past all start dancers… first up duet Bailey and all start koine who perform an old school mambo sensual set…all the judges were impressed with his evolution performance and felt he did well as he glided across the stage with confidence in each step.

Next up is Mariah's solo performance it was light and soft as she delivered each step precisely and with determination to stay …next duet is all-star comfort and Gino in their hip hop Egyptian routine it pulsated with high energy and the pair were in sync and moved naturally across the stage..the judges felt he stepped out of his doubts from past performance and shined tonight.

Moving along to Madison and all-star lex in an upbeat funky jazz routine Madison flowed well and the judges felt she did well. Lori Ann felt the same as me and felt she really didn't let go and get fully in character...next solo act Ezra was up-tempo and full of excitement and showed his fight to stay.

Performing next is all-star Kiki and Sophie perform a samba and they moved together in unison.. movements flowed naturally and Sophie got into character and delivered and all the judges agreed across the panel..performing next is Mariah and all-star fik-shun with a hip hop piece decked out in tuxedo's Mariah showed her ability to showcase different hip hop steps.

All judges but one Nigel felt she did good as he felt she missed it in her performance..another performer solo is Bailey he is fast-paced and quick steps are on point …Ezra and all-star Gaby in an emotional French-themed piece about heartbreak the dancer's connection with the characters and each other made it very believable it was elegantly delivered.

Now the dancers are back with their original dance partner…first up Sophie and gino doing a Broadway dance, it was a light and fun playful piece and they still managed to use the whole stage convey their love story, Madison performs an emotion-filled solo.

Next duet is Bailey and Mariah with an 80spunk themed love story they seem into each other and the routine they were definitely into their characters and the piece was smoking hot and become crowned the couple to beat,Sophie gives her solo performance plea, next Madison and Ezra with a disco routine it's fast-paced and full of colors spins and with high spirited energy and gave the judges disco fever as they agreed they did a good job.

Mariah Sophie and Madison do a sultry group performance in black latex catsuits… they did an awesome job between technique and delivery. Next the guys Bailey Ezra and Gino perform gave the audience and judges chills with all their movements flowing as one leaving it difficult for the judges to .always a decision on who to keep. Gino, Bailey, Sophie, and Mariah make it to the top four leaving Ezra and Madison eliminated.
