Big Brother 21: Nick Maccarone, Kat Dunn romance in the jury house

Tonight, Julie Chen announced on Big Brother 21 that there was a new romance forming within the Jury House. As a result of that, we were almost immediately surprised. Who in the world could it involve?

Just think about the possibilities here. Given that Jack and Analyse are already together, it didn't feel like either one of them was going to be with someone else. Meanwhile, Jessica already has a relationship outside the game. There weren't that many possibilities but we were genuinely more intrigued by this than almost anything within the game.

In the end … it seems like Kat and Nick are a showmance?! This was so random, especially since 1) Nick had a showmance with Bella and 2) Kat didn't like Nick upon his entry in the Jury House. It was one of the weirdest romances ever, and we don't exactly have that much confidence that this is going to last. The funniest thing about it is seeing Nick try to downplay that something was going on with Kat in front of the cameras. He didn't quite know that Bella wasn't into being with him on the outside, or at least that seemed to be the case.

Beyond the surprising Kat – Nick romance, we learned that the jury had some interesting thoughts on the game. Jessica, for example, respected Nicole more. Meanwhile, Christie didn't love Nicole's move to target her and Tommy. Tommy and Christie did end up telling everyone in the jury about their previous relationship, and that only made Nick feel more betrayed because there was no chance that he would've ever survived if he was up on the block against her.
