Big Brother 21 live feed spoilers: Veto Ceremony results (day 34)
Big Brother July 22, 2019
Big Brother 21The Veto Ceremony transpired on Monday afternoon within the Big Brother 21 house and for the past few hours, we've done our best to pine for some sort of excitement to come out of it.
Alas, what we were seeing going into the ceremony was Cliff taking the safe approach rather than swinging for the fences. Had Christie just used her power and nominated Bella with it, then everything would've been fine. However, if she opts to not use her power, then Cliff is working to get out one of the Six Shooters' targets and the power is still in the game. This may buy him a couple of weeks of safety, but then he's counting on either himself going on a competition tear later on or trusting in the notion that there could be some big division within that alliance … which may not happen.
Excitement-wise, we wanted Cliff to nominate Holly on Analyse, given that this would create the most chaos. Yet, this could also be a move that puts him on the block the very next week.
Unfortunately, we're not getting what we want this week. Christie did not use her power and Bella is now up as a replacement nominee. Cliff gave Christie everything that she wanted, thinking that this was the best move for his own long-term game. We don't think he did it out fear, but he did it out of over-thinking and mistrusting that some of these people will want to work with him long-term. He probably does buy himself another week or two of the game because of this, but that only goes so far. As soon as Bella and possibly Sam & Nick are gone, Cliff becomes the next person sent right out the door.
