Things have come to a bit of a halt on The Bachelorette.

Last week's episode of the ABC dating show ended on a cliffhanger, with Hannah Brown telling Luke P. that she couldn't give him a rose on their one-on-one date in Scotland. The controversial contestant has been the focus and cause of much of the drama between the men this season, and when things pick back up on Monday, fans will see how much of a toll it's taken on our Bachelorette.

Instead of moving forward with episode six, ABC has labeled Monday's episode 5B. We'll see an emotional sit-down with Brown and host Chris Harrison as she addresses her concerns about the process. Brown had previously admitted to ET that she thought about quitting while filming her season. In a phone interview with ET's Lauren Zima on Friday, Harrison said Brown certainly aired her frustrations.

"I felt like I had a really good rapport with her. We had great chemistry, which led to really emotional, honest conversations, but it's hard for me to put a finger on how serious she was sometimes when she said she was done or she'd say, 'I don't know how this works,'" he explained. "She really verbalizes everything, which is great, but I'm really not sure sometimes how real it all is or if she's just exhaling her feelings out."

According to Harrison, Brown "never walked away, or ran away a la Colton [Underwood]," but she did become discouraged. "Most of her stuff was confiding in us. [It was] less combative, just more confiding and letting us know this is where she stands and things aren't going well," he shared. "It was never Hannah vs. production, it was Hannah vs. her frustrations with these guys, and sadly it all centered around one guy, Luke P., who was really the fly in the ointment. These frustrations kept bubbling up because she likes the guy, and that was the tough part for us and everyone else because the guys really disliked Luke P. She wanted everyone to respect that, and none of the guys did."

Promos have shown that while Brown didn't give Luke P. a rose, he wasn't kicked off the show then and there. What follows is the beauty queen's "bottoming out" in Latvia, Harrison said. That's why they decided to take a breather and try to work out some of the drama.

"Hannah was going through such a rocky ride. There were several tumultuous weeks from Rhode Island, which wasn't the smoothest, to Scotland, which was even rougher, and then you see kind of a bottoming out at the beginning of Latvia," he recalled. "The thought was, we sat down in Riga, and things would rebound and she'd be feeling better and let's have a fresh start, but she really kind of hits the skids and bottoms out."

"She was emotional and wasn't sure this was going to work, so we thought, 'We should have a reset to explain where her head is at.' There's a lot of Luke P. talk, and even fatigue from our fans, and so we thought, 'Let's explain this to our fans and where her head's at, and bring everything together,'" Harrison continued of the special episode. "At the same time, we also filled an hour of television."

And while Brown gets some things off her chest during her meeting with Harrison, the drama continues this season. Viewers have yet to see the Bachelorette's much-teased line, "I have had sex and Jesus still loves me," which the host hinted might be directed at Luke P.

"Ironically enough, faith is what brought them together and his faith and his conservative values might be their biggest sticking point and become the biggest divide between them," he said. "Yes, obviously, we are setting something up down the road that will come to a head, where their faith and their values start to conflict, and how they perceive them."

Greetings, Bachelor(ette) Nation. We pick up this week with Hannah (finally) telling Luke P. that she can't give him a rose.

That means he's going home, right?

If only things were that simple on "The Bachelorette."

Hannah explains that their day together wasn't what she wanted. Luke is confused and frustrated with himself. "All I can say is please think about everything that we've talked about tonight and everything from Day 1 – every little detail," he says. He takes full ownership and wants to move on.

But it's not enough: "Giving you a rose tonight, it doesn't make sense," she says, and wants him to respect her decision to send him home.

Luke is shocked and leaves the building – only to quickly turn back and fight for her anyway. (Luke, she just told you to respect her decision. Where's your dictionary now, buddy?)

He says he wants to move mountains for her and starts yelling. Talking in circles all day was tearing him up inside. Us too, Luke.

Luke tells Hannah that he wants to marry her and that nothing else matters to him. In most circumstances this would be romantic. This is not most circumstances.

Hannah caves (!) and sends him back to join the rest of the contestants – but without a rose. He clues the guys into the situation: There's no rose, but Hannah still wants him there so he's headed to the rose ceremony.

She clarifies for the audience: If he can show true emotion he'll always receive a rose. If he goes back to being robotic, he won't get a rose. (Cue the dramatic music.)

Take Luke to church

Luke stops by a church and (via voiceover) talks about how he intends to be the real version of himself for Hannah, and he's trying not to mess up his pursuit for his future wife.

Religion also comes up elsewhere in this episode. Hannah tells the group before the cocktail party the Lord placed a verse on her heart the day before about not focusing on the "seen" but on the "unseen." She wants to know what makes these men themselves, and what pain they've endured. She wants to share her own story in return.

Hannah and Garrett chat first. While they have a sweet, brief moment when they discuss their relationship, he quickly pivots to talking about Luke. He wants to know if Luke stayed true to his word about not bringing up any of the other men on his date with Hannah. (Luke earlier told Garrett this was the case.) Hannah drops the night's first bombshell by saying he did talk about Mike, Devin and Dylan − she, though, is quick note that she was responsible for it.

Garrett confronts him in front of the rest of the men, and the conversation gets so loud that Hannah overhears it while she's trying to bond with Perfect Man™ Connor. (Yes, we still remember the sticky notes.)

Hannah walks in and tells them to stop. She tells the men to ask her about what happened with Luke because it's now affecting everything.

Our Bachelorette explains that she's aware of what Luke has pulled on the show and is still trying to piece it together. She wants the men to trust her since they obviously aren't listening to Luke.

Hannah tells them she's "frustrated as (expletive)" and that everyone should "stay in your freaking lane." She leaves again, but the fighting continues − so she chugs her drink and heads back down, in an easily GIF-able moment. We're with you, Han.

She wants Luke to stop making excuses but tells the guys to stop focusing on him.

"Know that I'm a grown-ass woman and, like, I can decide if I want to spend my time figuring all this out or if I don't," she says. Then the even harsher words come: "None of you know anything about me and why I'm here." Feeling defeated and not wanting to talk to anybody − saying "I don't want to do this" − she leaves again.

Garrett apologizes to the group for his pettiness and Luke (LOL) says he appreciates the apology.

Host Chris Harrison goes to check on Hannah. She explains the drama with Luke is taking up all her time and is hindering other relationships. Harrison says it's because they're crazy about her, but so is Luke, and they see he's getting her attention.

"Believe me, this would be a lot easier for these guys if they didn't care," Harrison says. It would be easier for us, too.

Hannah says they don't trust her enough. Harrison reminds Hannah that everyone (himself included) is there for her and that it's her party. "Party's over," she says. Phew.

OK: 'Bachelorette' villain Luke P.. reflects on regrets and 'flaws as a man'

You get a rose, and you get a rose and … YOU get a rose?!

Jed and Mike already have roses going into tonight. Connor, Tyler, Dustin, Peter, Dylan, Garrett and … Luke (sigh) receive the remaining roses.

Kevin, Grant and Devin are sent packing. Goodbye, gentlemen.

Hannah quickly says goodnight.

Next, the group heads to Riga, Latvia. But before we can get into anything, Harrison visits with Hannah again.

"Can I just have one cocktail party that doesn't go to crap by the end?" she asks him. Hannah confides she's trying to not give up but feels like she's flailing. Same, Hannah, same.

"I just don't want to give my heart to anybody that doesn't deserve it, too," she tells Harrison.

Whoa, we return to Los Angeles?

In a recap-style segment back in the mansion (Harrison confirmed to USA TODAY in an interview that this was filmed a few weeks after Latvia), Harrison and Hannah chat about all the drama and look back on the season so far.

In case you lost track, they cover everything from Scott having a girlfriend on Night 1 to Cam's attempt at a pity rose, the Battle of the Lukes and Scotland in general. They also talk about the good events of the season − which, yes, existed. (Justice for Connor and the sticky notes!)

We also learn a few things about our star: She'd only kissed five guys before "The Bachelorette," and she concedes that Luke is someone she could make out with all day. Ugh.

As for what's coming up during the rest of the season: Naked bungee jumping, fighting, fantasy suite talk, and a discussion about keeping the marriage bed pure – really!

Plus, someone with a ring in his pocket demands to see Hannah and is ready to propose … but who could it be?

The drama has really been non-stop: The stage is set for epic showdown between Luke P. and Luke S.

Hannah Brown Leaves the Luke P. Drama Behind (Sorta) in New 'Bachelorette' Episode

Last week on The Bachelorette, Hannah Brown left us with a cliffhanger after telling Luke P., "I can't give you this rose." And now, we finally learn the 24-year-old villain's fate. (Hint: It's not good.)

Here's what went down in season 15, episode six of the ABC series.

Luke P. the Manipulator

The installment picks up right where we left off in episode five, with Brown refusing to give Luke P. the rose. After she sets it down, Luke says he's "very confused right now." Brown reminds him that their date wasn't ideal, especially since he has yet to show her who he really is.

Although he begs her to change her mind, Brown reveals that there's no way he'd be able to come back from this deficit. "Giving you a rose tonight…it doesn't make sense," she says.

When Luke asks if he's going home, Brown nods before adding, "I just want you to respect that."

Outside, Luke is on the verge of a mental breakdown. "From the moment I met her, I've felt things I've never felt before in my entire life," he says. "I care about her so much, I don't want to go home."

In a not-so-surprising turn of events, Luke decides to fight for her, proving he didn't listen to anything she just said. After apologizing for his actions, he says he didn't know how to act and, therefore, gave her what he thought she wanted.

"I want to move mountains for you," he yells. "I hate this!"

Although Luke understands why he didn't get a rose, he doesn't think it's fair that she's sending him home. "I genuinely want to marry you," he says.

Cut to Luke returning to the hotel room, where the other contestants are appalled to see him. Luke explains that he didn't get a rose, but he's not going home (at least not yet).

In an interview with producers, Brown explains (sorta) the reasoning behind her decision, saying, "The guys have to trust me and to know that I'm doing what's best for my heart."

The Cocktail Party

At the cocktail party, things take a dramatic turn when Garrett sits down with Brown and demands to know if Luke threw any names under the bus, since he promised he wouldn't. Brown admits that he did, in fact, mention several names during their one-on-one date, which prompts Garrett to confront Luke in front of the other contestants.

Luke assures them that he's not talking about them "in a negative way." "Nobody believes you," Garrett yells back.

Right on cue, Brown interrupts the fight, which is echoing through the halls of the villa. After telling the contestants to "stay in your fricking lane," Brown storms out.

The men immediately start fighting again, and Brown has had enough. When she encourages Luke to "stop making excuses," Brown explodes on the group, reminding them that she's a "grown a** woman."

"Everyone thinks that it's just Luke that makes me feel psycho and irritated right now. It's truly all of you," she says through tears. "So, I don't want to do this."

At the rose ceremony, Brown hands out roses to everyone but Devin, Grant and Kevin, which means Luke survives another week. *Sigh*

The Situation

The next day, Brown and her nine remaining men travel to Riga, Latvia, where she sits down with Harrison to debrief about last week's events. "I'm not trusting these relationships as much as I want to," Brown admits. "I just…need it to change."

When Harrison asks her to pinpoint the problem, she breaks down in tears and reveals that she's afraid of giving up. "I feel very weighted down," Brown says. "I thought I would have a better understanding by now of my feelings and emotions. Like, I'm kind of flailing."

For the first time ever, we return from commercial break to find Harrison standing in front of the Bachelor mansion. He reveals that Brown is unsure about whether or not she wants to move forward with the show.

In an interview setting, Brown admits that she doesn't think her relationships with the contestants are where they need to be, saying, "I don't see at this point how I'm going to get to where I need to be at the end."

After reliving this season's most dramatic moments, Brown reveals that although she needs to reevaluate her relationships, she wants to finish what she started. (Surprise, surprise.)

So, when will Brown finally see Luke's true colors? Guess we'll have to wait until The Bachelorette returns to ABC next Monday, June 24, at 8 p.m..
