The Amazing Race Recap 5/08/19: Season 31 Episode 4 "I Took Out a Polar Bear"

On tonight's episode of The Amazing Race, Becca & Floyd are the first team to depart and have to head to the busy streets of Snowtown Saigon to find their next clue. The two couldn't be happier to start this leg at the top of the race.
Nicole & Victor are second and feel like they are coming into their own, teetering between a Big Brother and an Amazing Race team.
Janelle & Britney are frantically trying to find a taxi, they need to move up in the pack.
All teams arrive in Snowtown and have to wait until opening hours to go sledding, so they all have caught up with each other.
Having arrived last in the previous leg, Chris & Brett have to complete a Speed Bump. They must fill up a cooler with snowballs and transport them to another location in the city. It is not as easy as it sounds, they don't have gloves and their hands are freezing.
Teams head to a Road Block called Drive Yourself Crazy. Teams need to master the skills to earn a scooter license. Making their way around a challenging course, teams will need to stay within the yellow lines, while driving through a figure eight, and over a series of speed bumps without letting their feet touch the ground. The Road Block is not as easy as it looks like.
Chris & Bret are currently in the last place but many of the teams are lost and trying to find taxis, so they have a good chance to catch up.
Leo & Jamal are the first to finish the Road Block and have to head to Binh Quoi Village to find their next clue.
Elssa finishes the Road Block, she and Rachel are off to find their next clue as well.
Leo & Jamal get their next clue, its a Detour; they must choose between Irritation where teams must travel in a traditional circular bamboo boat to 200 yards to retrieve a basket of fish, they will need to carry their basket boats over a bridge and avoid annoying fisherman to get their next clue, and Irrigation where a farmer's most valuable tool is an irrigation system and teams must build one out of natural products.
Leo & Jamal choose Irrigation.
Meanwhile, Chris & Bret have crawled back up to the fifth place. Eliza is making her 3rd attempt on the moped and having a hard time. Korey and Janelle are also having a difficult time; teams need to slow down and concentrate.
One by one team arrive and leave, and Elissa is still not completed the track.
After completing the Detour, teams must head to the Pit Stop at Tam Vu Park; the last team to check in may be eliminated..
Colin & Christie are team number one and one a trip for two to the Dominican Republic to luxurious swim up suite. Nicole & Victor are team number two.
Elissa and Rachel are struggling at the Irrigation Detour, and are not agreeing to change and heading over to Irritation with the other teams.
Chris & Bret started the leg in the last place and arrive at the Pit Stop in third place.
Rachel & Elissa think they are in the last place, they finish the Detour and arrive at the Pit Stop in eighth place.
Corinne & Eliza arrive in the last place and are eliminated from the race.
