I'm not sure it's likely that all that happens in The Resident could happen in one hospital, but I would think that those things have likely happened or something close. I don't watch The Good Doctor though so I can't comment on that. I watch The Resident and Chicago Med though.

These hospital shows never mirror real hospitals.. There was a movie years ago called "The Hospital" with George C. Scott which came closest, and it was too close to the truth.
