The country star, 35, welcomed her second child — a son named Jacob Bryan Fisher, with husband Mike Fisher — on Monday, Jan. 21, she revealed on Instagram Wednesday..

Life is good … " she added.The little one's arrival comes months after Underwood revealed she and Fisher, 38, were expecting another child in August. She announced the sex of her baby in November during the opening of the 2018 CMA Awards, which she co-hosted once again alongside Brad Paisley at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.The happy news of her baby boy on the way came nine months after Underwood received 40 to 50 stitches in her face and underwent surgery on her broken wrist after a November 2017 fall on the steps of her Nashville home.
In addition, she revealed she suffered three miscarriages from 2017 to 2018. During an emotional interview with CBS Sunday Morning in September, she opened up about her challenging fertility struggles.
Explaining her reaction to the heartbreak, the "blessed" star said, "My son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he's the best thing in the world. And I'm like, 'If we can never have any other kids, that's okay, because he's amazing.' "

No."Speaking with Redbook in August about her emotional year, Underwood reflected on her life-changing fall and the hurdles she overcame in the months that followed.
"It was … a very soul-searching year for me. There were some personal things that happened," she said. "And I had the accident and all of that to get through … and just life. Life is full of ups and downs, and I might have had a few more downs than ups last year."
