Big Brother 20 episode 30 review: Endurance and filling time

Big Brother 20 episode 30 served as yet another reminder that the show can be very much different than the feeds.
For example, we got a lot of that tonight when it comes to JC. The show tonight really tried to paint him as this sort of strategic influencer when, in reality, nobody really puts that much stock in what he has to say. Yet, the show had to edit him in a certain way tonight to make it clear that Faysal at least thinks he's some big strategist, given that he told Scottie about him being in his ear during the Battle Back Competition.

There was a lot of JC tonight, much to the chagrin of really anyone who has heard about some of his actions on the live feeds as of late. The narrative that they tried to create is that he is this super-manipulative person who tries to pit players against each other; yet, most people are aware of this, but there isn't exactly all that much of a reason for anyone to do anything about it just yet. The one bummer tonight is that if Scottie won Head of Household, JC would've actually been a target — Tyler winning deprives us of that opportunity!

Tyler deserves a lot of credit for winning a tough endurance competition, and he predictably chose to put up Haleigh and Scottie for eviction. There was no drama in this — they were two of the only people he wasn't super-close to at the moment, and because of that, he made the decision fairly quickly.
Because tonight was so predictable, CBS just had to fill a little bit of time tonight — with that, we had a segment about Kaycee coming out, Scottie having some "blockage" in his attempt to get closer to Tyler, and beyond that, seeing Scottie admit to kinda-sorta still having feelings for Haleigh. With a show like tonight, there's just not too much to go on.
