Former "Bachelorette" contestant Leandro "Leo" Dottavio is in the early stages of taking legal action against "Bachelor" alum Bekah Martinez, who alleged he acted inappropriately towards women.
"I'm in the process of proving loss of wages to go after Bekah Martinez," Dottavio, 31, told The Blast.
Earlier this month, Martinez, 23, who appeared on Season 22 of "The Bachelor" took to Instagram, where she posted a series of screenshots collected by fans, including an alleged post from Dottavio dated from about four years ago, writing, "you need my big d–k."
Dottavio took a leave of absence from his job as a stuntman at the "WaterWorld" show at Universal Studios amid the flood of reports.
"I took a leave because I didn't want bad press coming to my public place of work," he said. "I am still employed and as far as I know there are no allegations against me. I have never been accused of any sort of sexual harassment at work or anywhere else."
Action Horizons, which produces the "WaterWorld" show, told USA Today in a statement last week: "We recently became aware of the situation concerning Mr. Dottavio.. We are allowing him the time he needs to handle the matter privately as the allegations did not arise from conduct in the workplace."
Dottavio, who appeared on the most recent season of "The Bachelorette," has denied the accusations, and told the gossip site reports of him being suspended from his job are false.
Martinez is said to have discovered Dottavio's alleged screenshot in May, while browsing "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" Reddit pages. Dottavio previously told The Post his comment had been photoshopped in the screenshot.
"I started posting the screenshots [of their messages] because to me, it's not a coincidence that multiple women would be saying similar things about the same person, Martinez told The Post earlier this month. "There's no way these women happen to be lying about the same thing before seeing what other women are saying."
Both Dottavio and Martinez could not be immediately reached for comment.
