Right around noon today, the
Big Brother 20 Veto Competition officially began — and with that, we also had the arrival of Zingbot! The robot will always be the most-famous bot in the history of the game (sorry, Sam from earlier this season) and sometimes, he brings with him great entertainment.
Of course, there are also people who still think that he in some ways influences the game with his zings.
Before getting any further into this, let's talk about what matters in terms of gameplay: Brett won the Veto! That gives him a chance to actually be in control of his destiny for really the first time all season long. Competitions haven't really been his thing, but this is a worst-case scenario for Faysal given that he's going to have to nominate someone else … and his own foolishness has probably got Scottie going home.
The only alternative scenario we can think of in which we end up seeing Scottie stay is if Fessy nominates Sam and she throws herself on her own sword, demanding that she be allowed to quit the game. Nothing else really makes sense.
The Power of Veto Competition was Hide and Go Veto, and it's a little weird that the show is combining that with Zingbot. We know that the houseguests got a Zingbot visit thanks to the Zing Force outfits that there are wearing (clearly a Space Force reference), but nobody's really talking about their zings all that much. Maybe they were terrible, or maybe they were instructed not to. Either way, it's a little disappointing to not hear about them.
