We begin our
Big Brother 20 coverage for day 54 by saying this: Last night was a mess. There have been some impressive game moments from Haleigh and Rockstar over the course of the season … but last night's one of them.
Instead, what we had was Rockstar making an extremely bizarre pitch suggesting that in some way she deserves to be there more than Angela and Kaycee because they "blend into the background." Basically, it felt almost like Rockstar was saying "pick me over those people who do almost everything that you want them to do." There's no real reason for Tyler to choose to help her over some of these people, and we think that Rockstar played this totally badly. If we were her, we would've advocated instead for a situation in which she and Haleigh try to target either Sam or JC — that way, Tyler's close allies aren't getting screwed over but neither is she. That's something that we explain a little bit further in the video below — be sure to

As if all of this wasn't bad enough, Haleigh (who was drunk on wine and spent most of the night in the bathtub) went ahead and spilled constant tea about her game to Tyler, including talking about how close she is to Scottie and how she will self-evict (not being serious, but still) if Rockstar goes home this week.. She came across as desperate, but also totally played into Tyler's hand. He got all sorts of information about who she's working with and even still, he's not going to change his mind.
Do we think that there's a small amount of danger still in Tyler underestimating Haleigh? Sure, since she's shown now an ability to win mental comps. If we were him at the moment, we'd probably get rid of Scottie first at this point but then her before Faysal, who's not going to be good at comps at the end of the game. Scottie and Haleigh are probably the two biggest threats left in that department, with Brett probably in third place. There is a time when Tyler or Brett will have to turn on each other and we very much look forward to that.
