Welcome to
Big Brother 20 day 28 — though, with this being the morning update, we're going to focus mostly on what happened overnight.
With Winston and Brett both firmly on the block now, we don't anticipate that there are going to be a whole lot more in the way of jaw-dropping revelations from the live feeds. Yet, we did get some news via Sam that should generate plenty of excitement: Per her conversation with Tyler, she is not planning to use her power to save either Brett or Winston. That's huge, mostly because it felt like Sam was thinking about using it on Brett based on a conversation that the two had over the weekend.
What this could also mean is that Sam is going to be moving forward now aware that her power is basically going to be stripped from her for the eviction following this one — basically, that renders the entire eviction useless and we're probably in for a fairly boring week. The only thing that could be interesting is if there's some sort of crazy drama that is left to simmer in the house because nobody goes home, which is possible.
A great example of that right now is Kaitlyn, who has no problem blowing up her own game or anyone's close to her — including Tyler. While Tyler getting close to her was essential in getting Swaggy C out, he now has to deal with the aftereffects of that in dealing with an erratic, emotional player who can't keep a secret to save her life. He told Sam last night that he would be fine if she goes home, which we do think he means on some level. We trust Sam and Tyler when they're spending time together given that A) Sam isn't really a gossip and B) Sam also doesn't have a penchant for lying unless she really feels like she has to. We believe her when she says she doesn't want to use her power because she knows that lie would come back to bite her — and hurt her alliance with Tyler in the process.
