The Fourth of July party has become an annual tradition within the
Big Brother house, and this year was no exception. Even though the CBS lot didn't hold a big party as it has in past years this time around, the producers still decided to figure out a way in which to give the houseguests a little time without feeds. Because it's not that often and it rarely amounts to us missing a ton of crazy antics, we don't mind it as much as we do when the feeds are down for
Big Brother Canada for huge extended periods of time.
So what happened when the feeds came back on? Well, we saw a pretty dramatic reveal via Tyler: He let Kaycee in on Sam's power! This seems to be a part of his last-ditch plan in order to save her, thinking that this power is a valuable thing for everyone to have down the road. We're not arguing with him on that, since this could be super-important and help their entire alliance down the road.
Of course, we're still not sure how telling Kaycee will ensure Sam stays unless they can find a way to tell enough people that want to work with them in the future. We do think that this is not something that Tyler really wanted out there if he could help it … but we're getting close to the eviction show now.
There wasn't too much evidence that the Fourth of July party itself was all that much of a rager, given that nobody seemed altogether drunk on the other side of it. There was evidence of a feast and that was really about it. Hardly a big party, but we're glad that the feeds were only down for a short period of time.
