And if you were to twitter post that and have Ambien respond they would say no that's not right .Of course they would say that it doesn't cause what you said,
I had a couple people say it does . and Roseanne tweeted that at 2:45 in the morning .SO something was up

Ambien, there are some other interesting side effects of the drug... If I am not mistaken this is the drug that Tiger Woods used on a regular basis and was in his system when he wrecked his car on the Thanksgiving fiasco...

It also, again if I recall correctly is used as a sort of underground drug for sexual encounters both by men and women.

I had a prescription at one time and discontinued it after about a week. I would have no memory of getting up when sleeping and walking around the house my wife would find me in the living room or kitchen. Also as far as the sex side of it, I didn't remember any of it buy my wife informed me that it did promote a sexual encounter and that she didn't want to experience it again. It seemed like I was someone else completely and extremely aggressive. I wish I could remember it.

  No Ambien doesn't cause racism but it does cause things that could cause  what she said WHO knows. I know some one that used Ambien and it caused her some weird side effects. She had to change to another drug

The makers of Ambien want no part in Roseanne Barr's career implosion.
In a series of tweets early Wednesday morning, Barr had blamed the sedative for prompting her to make a racist comment about former President Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, which ultimately led ABC to cancel Roseanne on Tuesday.

Barr's first tweet read: "guys I did something unforgiveable so do not defend me. It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting — it was memorial day too — i went 2 far & do not want it defended — it was egregious Indefensible. I made a mistake I wish I hadn't but…don't defend it please."
She cited Ambien again in a later post: "Not giving excuses for what I did(tweeted) but I've done weird stuff while on ambien — cracked eggs on the wall at 2am etc."

Sanofi, the pharmaceutical company that produces Ambien, has since responded to Barr's claims, stating that "racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication."
