Voices of Hope – Children's Choir – They are 70 kids from Orange county who sing. Their director is a woman who thinks of her charges as her "non-biological kids." The children are SOOOO EXCITED. If they win, they'll put the million dollars back into the program. WOW THE SONG PICK IS SO ORIGINAL. "This is Me" from The Greatest Showman. We're destined to hear this song over and over and over again on singing shows, aren't we? Sigh. Well. Kiddos.Good for them. All heartwarming and everything. Heidi "adores" them. She prefers children's choirs to adults. She compliments the solo voices. Mel B warns them to up their game. Oooh.Howie is dissing the kiddos "I don't know if it's for me." Simon loves the kid choirs. Howie says no. The rest say yes – 1 no 3 yeses
Next it's a montage of couples that used to date? Unrequited matchups? Embarrassed kiddos?Old married couples? etc etc etc.
Quinn and Misha – These two have a hard time pinning down the nature of their relationship. The guy is in his 30s and the woman is 71!!! No, they aren't in a relationship. She has a husband. She's very easy to pick up, which is half their act. He's doing all the heavy lifting, figuratively and actually. Still! That gal is LIMBER. Impressed. Heidi says, "Age doesn't have an expiration date." Simon thinks they are interesting and inspirational. Howie jokes that if his wife moved like that, he'd need an adjustment.
Next, it's a montage of magic acts, including a guy with a pile of cascading balls.
Lioz Shem Tov – Mentalist – He has special powers! He says… His mother back in Israel told him to hide his special powers. Now he sees them as a gift. He claims to move things with his mind. Right. "No gimmicks, no tricks, everything is real," he promises. OH. He's a comedian. No, really! For instance, he pulls kleenex out of a box. He gets buzzed twice. But this is actually kind of hilarious? The non-kinetic and completely ordinary moving around things is done with emphatic music, surprise faces and dramatic hand flourishes. It's so silly. But it's not really an act. Heidi doesn't get it. She says no. Simon thought it was stupid at first, but then came to think it was really funny. He wants to take his X back. "This is not comedy" Leoz says quite seriously.Simon, Mel and Howie say yes.  3 yeses 1 no.

Jeffrey Li – Thirteen year old singer – He's an only child and has wanted to sing almost his entire life. His father thinks music has helped him feel less lonely as an only. If he wins, he's gonna buy him a dog.

He performs "You Raise Me Up." Simon promises if he does well, HE will buy him a dog. "Let's do this one for the doggie!" Jeffrey has a very pretty tenor. He's tentative at first, but gathers confidence as he goes. Ha there's a couple of ladies in the audience going crazy. Mom is crying off in the wings. When he hits the big chorus, the audience get out of their seats. Simon has that Susan Boyle look on his face. I think Jeffy is getting his dog. Jeffry wants a German Shepherd.Howie calls him a young male Celine Dion. Mel compares him to an angel. Simon calls his audition "amazing." and says he'll keep his promise. Hey. I want to see that damn dog. Mel says "Hey you didn't ask your parents permission." Jeffrey snarks "TOO LATE!"  4 yeses.

Next, it's a montage that includes a fun doggo act, pole climbers, and a dude who makes big bubbles, a couple who do the danger tumble thing, All successful!
Udi Dance – A projection act using blacklight: Good vs Evil! They fight. It looks like evil will win out…but it ends in a twist. Oh. They're from Britain's Got Talent. Simon kind of remembers them. The group is from Russia. That was sort of cool. Good storytelling. Mel didn't know what happened next! Simon was a little confused by the twist. To be honest I'm not sure what happened either.  4 yeses.

Next it's a super off key singer performing at a keyboard. Simon thinks he has no personality.Mel B disagrees. Next a male, female ventriloquist duo have no puppets! They project their voices into each other. Simon thought they lacked showmanship. That's followed by a young singer who performs "I'm Alive." Simon calls it "a seven." We're looking for a nine, he says.Wow. She sounded pretty good, actually.
Daniel Emmett – He's a 25 year old classical crossover singer. My favorite kind! (Nope). He's singing an original song. It's a pop opera ditty. Simon will probably love this. He trills his consonants too hard–it's distracting. Simon asks for a second song. Daniel claims he didn't prepare one. Simon chastises him. Didn't producers tell him to bring an extra? I'm sure they did.Simon didn't like his original, so he's sending Daniel off with an assignment to learn another song. THIS IS A TOTAL SET UP. C'mon. He only has an hour. Guess we're coming back to that later. In the meantime, there's a young woman singing "Shape of You" with a guitar. He thinks she sounds like any old person on Youtube. Heidi doesn't think she's ready. OK. Now we're back. Daniel swears he didn't know the song. It's in Italian–an Il Divo (a classical boy band Simon put together). Sure. He didn't know this song. He sings it perfectly. The crowd is on their feet. Simon thought rising to the challenge showed him a lot about who he is. The rest of the panel JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT. "It's like you set him up to fail!" says Howard. Uhm. Delete the "to fail" and I think you're on to something. Sorry. I just can't help being cynical.

 4 yeses

Wes-P – He's a "Japanese tablecloth artist" who brings a translator with him on stage because he just got off a plane and knows no English. Is this actually a thing? No it is not. He strips naked and uses his body as a table. When he whips away the cloth, china remains to hide his naughty bits. HA HA HA. Hm. So the "translator" that came with him was actually a prop, I'll bet.He got 3 Xs. Howie loved it, though.  1 yes 3 Nos.

Transcend – This married duo are a trapeze act. The husband has an eye disease. Eventually he'll go blind. OK then. She's already broken bones due to falls, but she would never do it with anyone else. She crazy. Simon jokes that his own body "is close to perfection." The act is intricate and DANGEROUS. He's not tossing her around like you see in some acts, but the still manage to create excitement and tension. Simon thinks the duo are finals worthy. Mel wasn't entirely impressed, though. Howie felt it really displayed their close relationship.  1 No 3 Yeses

Annaliese Nock – Oh. Remember her dad? Bello Nock was on AGT last year. He did crazy daredevil acts, and now at 21, his daughter is following in his footsteps. She wants to pave the way for female daredevils. Her thing? She blows up. She blows herself up REAL GOOD.Tonight, she'll be locking herself into a coffin like contraption using 13 pounds of TNT. The act is conducted outside, of course. Her dad advises her to check her gear, and if it doesn't feel right, call it off. If she doesn't breath right, her lungs could explode…or something. Dad looks real nervous as she's nailed into a box. It explodes and Annaliese takes a minute, but then she's on her feet. Yay. She's not dead. Heidi calls her "gutsy." She says, "I call that girl power." Howie calls it "amazing." Mel was terrified. Simon wanted more dynamite. Annaliese invites him to join him in the box. "I'll think about it!" he says.  4 yeses.

Amanda Mena – Fifteen year old singer from Boston Massachusetts was raised in the Dominican Republic. She came to the States at 4 years old not knowing any English. She was bullied a lot and kept her singing private for a long time as a result. Her mom inspired her to not be ashamed of herself. She sings a full throated and soulful version of "You Make Me Feel (Like a Natural Woman). She seems accustomed to singing in front of crowds–she's no newbie.Amanda possesses a very strong and expressive voice with great range. The crowd is going nuts. Howie calls her a "super natural talent." and Simon says, "You have genuinely natural soul." Mel. B. got goosebumps! And here's what she has to say to all those dang bullies. Mel B.Hits her Golden Buzzer
