'The Voice' Recap: The Live Playoffs Continue With Team Alicia and Team Blake

Team Alicia and Team Blake take center stage for the second night of the Live Playoffs of The Voice, where the five remaining artists from each team will perform for the second time for the votes of the public. The artist with the highest amount of votes and the coach's choice from each team will then join Brynn Cartelli, Sharane Calister, Kyla Jade and Britton Buchanan in the Top 12.

Blake Shelton's Team

 Spensha Baker ("Smoke Break")

Spensha version of Carrie Underwood's "Smoke Break" was a big improvement from Monday's performance. However, she's still pitchy and inconsistent.

WILKES ("Don't Speak")

WILKES slayed No Doubt's "Don't Speak" and pulled off a mic drop, proving just how he's versatile he is as an artist.

 Pryor Baird ("9 to 5")

Pryor put his own spin on Dolly Parton's "9 to 5" but didn't live up to expectations. Sadly, he also butchered some of the lyrics.

Austin Giorgio ("Love Yourself")

Seeing Austin sing Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" is like watching an entirely different person on stage. Though his goal was probably to step out of his comfort zone, he picked a very odd song and mumbled through most of it.

Gary Edwards ("America the Beautiful")

Gary took the patriotic route tonight though I'm not sure if that's a good thing. His notes were strong yet scattered. Overall, the performance was mediocre.

Alicia Keys' Team

Terrence Cunningham ("Ain't Nobody")

Terrence sounds the same in all of his performances and his rendition of Chaka Khan's "Ain't Nobody" is no exception. He's not stepping out of his comfort zone and it's probably safe to say he's not earning a spot in the Top 12.

Christiana Danielle ("Take Me To Church")

Christiana's rendition of Hozier's "Take Me to Church" was a bit shaky but her low notes were hauntingly beautiful.

Jackie Foster ("Alone")

Jackie unexpectedly pulled off the Heart cover while flaunting her vocal range. Though there's plenty of room for improvement, this was far better than last night's performance.

 Kelsea Johnson ("Need U Bad")

Kelsea delivered a solid performance of Jazmine Sullivan's "Need U Bad."

 Johnny Bliss ("One and Only")

Coming off from a Spanish-only song on Monday's Playoffs, Johnny went mainstream with his version of Adele's "One and Only." It was delightful and unexpected but it's just not his best.
