Arnold Schwarzenegger is in stable condition after emergency open-heart surgery, according to a new report.
Per TMZ, the Terminator star, 70, was at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Thursday for a catheter valve replacement when complications arose during surgery, which was described as "somewhat experimental." When the replacement failed, doctors decided that he'd have to have the emergency open-heart surgery.

The procedure lasted several hours, the website reports. Schwarzenegger's reps have not yet confirmed the news. Yahoo has reached out for comment.
The action superstar, former California governor, and former Mr. Olympia has had heart surgery before, in 1997. In a 2016 interview on In Depth With Graham Bensinger, the father of five said that his family has a history of heart problems. (His late mother's heart had two valves that "didn't work well." Her mother also had a valve problem.) He talked about having two valves replaced ("the aortic valve and pulmonary valve") and how the procedure failed. They had to repeat the procedure immediately, which was life-threatening, and he admitted that he had thought there was a chance he would die. "Luckily it all turned out well," he said. "Now, 19 years later, I still have the same valves and everything is standing fine."
