I am afraid Marissa or Ross will be next out.
Who is Omarosa's target within the
Celebrity Big Brother house this week? We know that there are a number of candidates and, in general, she's probably got a chance to make some decisions here that are fairly unpredictable. She is not necessarily beholden to making any one move and she doesn't have that many allies.
We've felt from the moment she won that Ross Mathews would be the smartest target for her, and that does seem to be what she's going with for now. Omarosa mentioned to Marissa Jaret Winokur that she is contemplating nominating Ross alongside Mark McGrath as a means of sending him home, but if she does that it could easily end up being a mistake. If we were her, we would consider more instead making a move that would put Ross and Marissa on the block together given that they are a dangerous pair and need to be split up. In general, Omarosa needs to make a move on the Brandi – Ross – Ariadna – Marissa contingent; even with Brandi's hinky-vote during last night's episode, calmer heads will likely prevail there. If Omarosa nominates Mark there's a good chance that Brandi, Ariadna, and Marissa will find a way to make their desired endgame happen. It won't be that hard given that there are only five people voting; Metta World Peace and James Maslow will have zero power.
This is why this Head of Household is the biggest one of the season by far; if Omarosa doesn't get rid of a Ross or a Marissa, they've got a much clearer path to the end provided that she wins competitions. Getting rid of one narrows down that field, and if she can tighten a bond with someone like James she could have an ally for the immediate future who is a big threat and would take some of the heat off of her.
There isn't a direct timetable for when nominations will happen, but we imagine that there's no real reason to drag that out.
