The Hell's Kitchen competition is inching closer and closer to that highly coveted prize of a new job as Head Chef at Chef Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen restaurant at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. So you know what that means. Yep, the drama is getting much juicier!

A brewing feud on the Red Team seems to be encompassing most of the female contestants with Elise at the helm, but this episode finds Barbie having a bit of a meltdown. Can she pull it together in the name of a team win? Or will she fold under pressure and give her teammates one more thing to complain about?

Again, there are words exchanged after the most recent elimination. Michelle calls Elise out for her saying there was no accountability held for raw chicken. The cackling seems to continue after the chicken is killed, thanks to this show. Even after a "boop!" from Elise, the argument keeps going and going and going on through the next morning. You know, it's sad that her talent will never be what is attached to her name because she never puts the drama to rest.

Both teams line up outside of Hell's Kitchen where Chef Ramsay is standing beside a yacht. He announces that the all-stars will be fishing, but not in a fancy boat like that. Instead, they'll be fishing for five different fish, cod, grouper, snapper, char and sole, in their very own lake on the restaurant campus.

Challenge: Go fish!

Each contestant must collect ingredients for each of the five fish they will be cooking with. The ingredients are written on hooks that are then attached to the fish and then tossed. There are fish flying all over the place and Elise is struggling. Where most everyone has seven ingredients, she managed to grab three. In the kitchen, Van has a hard time of his own when his fish falls apart on the pan. With little time remaining, he scrambles to get something on the plate. This could be an interesting finish!

The winning team will be sent to Las Vegas for their reward, so the stakes are high. To help judge the challenge, Ramsay welcomes Chef Michael Cimarusti of Providence restaurant. In the end, Van's sole trumps Barbie's dish.

Results: Blue Team wins!

The Blue Team get to Las Vegas in a private plane where they will stay at Caesar's Palace. In an eruption of celebratory hopping and hollering, the winners rush off to pack. The women are left behind to hear their fate. They must prepare for fish delivery day, which includes descaling, filleting and the like. Oh, what joy.

Interesting enough, though, Elise needs help to filet her fish. Who comes to her rescue? Well, it's none other than Michelle! The shade then passes from those two and over Barbie's way. In an odd turn of events, she now has an attitude, causing her teammates to question what her deal is. "I don't have a problem," she says. Sorry, don't believe it.

To make matters worse, the women are to enjoy fish shakes. (When did this turn into Fear Factor?) Barbie damns the team when she empties her shake into the trash bin. Chef Jockey instructs her teammates to finish their shakes because of Barbie's sneaky schemes. Meanwhile, Chef Christina meets the Blue Team in Vegas where they enjoy the sights and a night out on the town.

Dinner Service

The next day, preparations are underway for Hell's Kitchen's Asian Fusion night. The doors are open and it is time to turn up the heat! Dining tonight are actor Aleks Paunovic, rapper E-40 and Chef's Table VIPs, dancer Cheryl Burke and actor Dan Bucatintsky.

Not sure who will get there first, but there will be a train-wreck during this service, possibly two. Odd-acting Barbie takes to introducing herself to Cheryl, awkwardly. Then Ramsay appoints Barbie as lead of the Red Kitchen, probably to keep her away from Cheryl. Elise knows that Barbie can't lead, so she appoints herself as leader, but it all just sounds like a repetition game. The Blue Team has some issues of their own as Robyn hams it up at their Chef's Table with Dan and his guests.

Barbie vs. Elise

A shouting match erupts between Barbie and Elise over who's driving the tickets. Christina tells them to cut it out, but Ramsay brings something back from the pass and takes the entire team into the dreaded pantry. "If it's not ready," he starts, "don't send it!" One would think that this was common knowledge, but the women are so busy in their drama, the food suffers. Van of the Blue Team is having another issue presently, as he's sent raw strip steak to the pass, but this fails to compare to Barbie's over-attentive efforts next door.

There is another trip to the pantry, but let's discuss what led us here, shall we? Crazy-eyed Barbie visits Cheryl's table to ask how everything is. Her guest says the duck could be cooked a bit longer, but that "it's really okay." Barbie insists that they re-fire it. Elise apologizes for her because she's acting a bit over-the-top. The two all-stars bicker, of course. This grants them seven minutes in the pantry to "sort it out" as Ramsay instructs. I don't know that it's so much sorted, but put to rest and they quickly get back to work. While this is settling on the stove, Van continues to crash and burn. He's had to re-fire salmon, but it's now overdone. He's almost kicked out of the kitchen, but manages to send a perfectly cooked salmon to the Chef's Table.

Double Whammy!

Could it be? Both teams somehow made it to the end of their services, but it was a rough journey. This means that both Blue and Red are the losers. Each must nominate members for elimination. Obviously, Van is the obvious choice for the Blue Team, but Robyn is an option too because of her frazzled state. Milly's name comes up too because of his one dish setback, but I don't think he'll be going anywhere. While discussing, the men, and Robyn, can hear the cackles of the Red Team.

Jennifer finally speaks up and shuts everyone up. As expected, Elise and Barbie are being named for nomination simply because the drama could be left behind. Elise claims she has no worries because Barbie will go home before she does. I wouldn't be surprised if Ramsay keeps Elise around but switches her back out with Robyn. Seems like a very Chef Ramsay thing to do.

In elimination, Nick announces that Robyn and Milly (what??) have been nominated. Ramsay rubs his head in frustration and adds Van to the list. All three step up and give their pleas to stay in Hell's Kitchen.

Going home tonight is... Van.

"I'm not done yet," says Ramsay. Dana says Elise and Barbie are nominated. They are each given 30 seconds to state why they should stay in the competition. "Barbie," Chef Ramsay begins, "and Elise," (triple elimination?) "get back in line." Wow, that was almost too much for one episode. It should go without saying, though, that Milly, Elise and Barbie will all have grudges from here on out.

What did you think of Chef Ramsay's decision? Did the right person go home? Should someone else have followed Van out the door? Let us know and comment below!
