I was surprised the one who was saved was in the bottom two

So afar my picks have all been safe .

'The Voice' Results: Who Advances to the Top 10?

It's that time again! We gather here in the name of results as The Voice gets that much closer in the competition to crowning a new champion. The Top 11 performances really lit the competition ablaze and the results will undoubtedly be interesting.

Will we see the same names in the bottom two? Will America vote a brand new cast into those ill-fated spots, allowing viewers to see "save me" performances from a different duo? Let's find out!

The First Results

So in a short amount of time, we have all four coaches taking the stage at some point. Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus will perform with their teams, while Blake Shelton will have a little help with his new hit song from Jennifer Hudson. Now that might be more interesting than anything we'll see in this episode.

Until then, let's get to some results! Carson Daly calls the Top 11 to the stage.

The first two artists saved by America are Team Blake's Chloe Kohanski (whose performance hit number one on the iTunes charts) and Addison Agen from Team Adam (who followed Chloe with the number two spot on iTunes). Any surprises there? I would say no. They obviously have huge fan bases.

Miley Cyrus and Team Miley ("Man! I Feel Like a Woman")

The women hit the stage in all animal print. They definitely make a statement. Miley kicks off the song, but Janice is where the soul really stands out. Honestly, those two are the only ones I think I will remember after the episode ends. Miley would really only be memorable because she's the coach. Am I the only one? Brooke Simpson and Ashland Craft don't sound bad; they just don't stand out against the others. Nice performance, but we can see who the stars are in these group settings.

Carson introduces a package, showing the contestants answering fan questions. We get to see the interactions behind the scenes, how they admire one another, inside jokes, interesting facts about the artists, etc. It's nice to see these sort of more uplifting interactions rather than drama.

Let's get some more results. America has saved Team Miley's Brooke Simpson and Team Jennifer's Davon Fleming .

Adam Levine and Team Adam ("Go Your Own Way")

These song choices in this results show are awesome! Adam L. somehow still looks cool while wearing an '80s long coat/duster. Grandpa Adam? Sorry, sidetracked! Back to the music. Adam Cunningham sounds really great on this track. Addison sounds good too but sorta gets swept up by the music at times. I'd much rather just listen to the Adams duet on this one. I believe you can truly tell the standouts every time they do these team performances.

Back to the results. Carson gives us two more names of the artists that America saved. Both Red Marlow of Team Blake and Noah Mac of Team Jennifer are moving on to the Top 10.

As a quick recap, we have Adam Cunningham , Janice Freeman , Shi'Ann Jones , Ashland Craft and Keisha Renee still waiting on their fate.

Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hudson ("I'll Name the Dogs")

The five-time Voice winner takes to the stage with fellow coach Jennifer Hudson. I keep bringing up the wardrobe, but this one really needs to be mentioned. Jennifer is sporting a sequined jumpsuit, all silver. She looks like a disco ball, but for this performance she apparently wanted to look more the part. Jennifer has added a jean shirt, making it fashionable with a belt around the waist. I can't be the only one to find this funny. Oh, and they sound really great together. Her voice compliments his really nicely, as a matter of fact. A fun collaboration, to say the least.

Things are getting more intense now as the final five artists return to the stage for more results. The last three artists saved by America and moving on to the Top 10 are Ashland Craft from Team Miley, Keisha Renee from Team Blake, and Shi'Ann Jones from Team Jennifer. This means Team Miley's Janice Freeman and Team Adam's Adam Cunningham will be singing for their lives. I'm sorry, but I'm surprised. Here come some really stellar instant save performances.

Adam Cunningham ("Amazed") -- Team Adam

His second appearance in the bottom two, having to sing for an instant save once again, Adam picks a great song to showcase his voice. This is tough; he's a great performer and it shows, once again, in this performance. There has to be nerves galore, but  Adam C. keeps his cool and hits a great note to leave with the voters. Perhaps Blake is right when he says maybe that should have been what he performed during the performance episode.

Janice Freeman ("Chandelier") -- Team Miley

Man, this is going to be a hard loss either way. Just like Adam, Janice hits the stage, leaving everything she has on that floor. The powerhouse that she holds in those vocal cords are incredible. I will say that Janice uses up the stage and walks around engaging the crowd more than Adam C., but that's not to say one performance is necessarily better than the other. Hers is superb in its own right. This one does prompt a standing ovation from Miley Cyrus, who is in tears, and Jennifer Hudson. Miley is begging when she says to her artist, "You are the voice." This is rough.

The results for each artist are showing as the commercials play, and it is not looking good for Janice, unfortunately. It looks as though a shoo-in for the finals or even to take the whole thing will be leaving the competition too soon.

Here we go. Carson gives both Adam C. and Janice a moment to give final statements to their coaches. Janice and Miley are both in tears. This isn't coach and artist; this is a true friendship. These women have bonded and would do anything for one another. It's beautiful, honestly. This bottom two is horrible! Adam L. mentions how talent cannot be judged on a talent show. I agree. This comes down to popularity.

Going Home is ... Janice Freeman

Adam Cunningham is saved once again to round out the Top 10.

A great voice was eliminated, but after seeing the connection made between Miley Cyrus and Janice Freeman, I believe this is only the beginning. We'll be seeing her again.

Do you agree with these results? How does Adam Cunningham keep finding his way out of harm's way? Does talent even matter on these types of shows? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
