The #metoo movement isn't relegated solely to sexual harassment.
But, as you say, accusations aren't always true. Now I haven't read much on the Morgan Freeman accusations, but I did read one woman claimed he sexually harassed her when he just looked at her across a room. Really? That, to me, isn't sexual harassment, and I've seen people, my friends, commenting on Facebook asking how they are supposed to just exist if even looking at a woman is now harassment.
To the black people have different views. I've never had to tell my son that if he comes into contact with police he should raise his hands in the air the entire time, to describe his every movement, and reason for it, before moving any part of his body. But I overheard one of my neighbors telling her two elementary school aged boys just that. As well as to be careful around white people, don't give them a reason to call the police. And all I could think was how wrong that is, that parents are having to tell their children this.
I am hopeful we have finally had enough, and things change for the better. Because we are too quickly going back to a time where non-whites have to use a different restroom, entrance, etc. No, we shouldn't pay reparations for slavery now. But we also need to stop treating non-white, non-Christian people as second class citizens.

The roseanne one is really clearly racist. No question on that but sometimes it isn't as clear. I know I've seen threads on reddit on a comment somebody will make on the BB feeds (tieing this back to big brother) about if a comment was racist or not and sometimes it isn't clear. Sometimes it is very much based on what specific person has experienced and to if they would find the comment offensive or not. Very similar to how somebody who has gone through sexual abuse is going to be more sensitive about certain comments or jokes that somebody else wouldn't.
These are not easy issues and they are very complicated. The problem is many people (on both sides) try to take these complicated issues and look at them (for lack of a better term) as being very black and white when they are not. Nothing is going to change until we get away from soundbytes and stock phrases that don't require thought and have an actual discussion on the underlying issues.
